Lips of Love

These cute lips are showing some love with a dainty little heart on them. Now this is something that you couldn't just wear out. But it is something to keep in mind when your playing with the camera at a slumber party. Or if you want to show your special someone just how much you care.

Step 1: Start off with "The basics"
Step 2: Apply foundation over entire lips.
Step 3: Once you have your lips as closely blended to your face as you can get them, take a pink/red lip liner and draw a heart on your lips.
Step 4: Start off at the top, make the curves at the top of your lips the curves of your heart. Chances are you are going to have to go above your lips a little to get a nice curve.
Step 5: Then go to the bottom section, make the middle of your lips at the bottom the bottom of your heart. Then draw up and connect to the upper lip.
Step 6: Now fill in with a bright pink or red lip stick/gloss.
Step 7: Snap a picture and show him just how much you love him.<3

Inner Nicki Minaj

Most people normally wouldn't wear a two tone lipstick look on a normal basis. But lately this kind of makeup seems to be coming in style. So, next time you are bored and want to go a little crazy with your look, channel your inner Nicki Minaj and go for a funky two toned look.

Step 1: Start off with "The Basics"
Step 2: Keep it more natural up top by just wearing some mascara and light eye shadow.
Step 3: Now for the lips, apply a light layer of foundation on your lips to set a base.
Step 4: Then take your first color and apply to your upper lip.
Step 5: Now take your second color and apply to your lower lip.
Step 6: Rub a Q-tip around the edge of your lips to wipe off any excess
Step 7: Set look with powder and now your ready to show off your new bold look to the world.

Paper inspiration

A new trend coming out recently is paper lashes. Now, I know what your thinking false lashes have been out for a while now. But your mistaken! These are no false lashes, these are paper lashes. These eyelashes are a London based design that are inspiring people to take paper usage to the next level. These eyelashes are so cute and dainty that everyone will fall in love with them. Prices range from $17 for the small ones to $19 for the larger ones.

Naturally Pretty

I love this look because you look so in touch with nature. Yes, you can see the makeup on your face, but you look natural in a one with the earth sort of way.

Step 1: Start of with "The Basics"
Step2: Apply a light grey liner to your lower water line and a thin line to your upper lash line.
Step 3: Now take a light green shadow and put it on your upper lids and into your crease and down under your lower lash line.
Step 4: Apply a layer of black mascara
Step 5: Then take a peachy blush and apply on your cheek bones
Step 6: Then take a bright pink lip gloss across your lips.
Step 7: Set with powder and now you look just as beautiful as the earth you live in.

Best colors

Everyone has different eye colors some are blue, some green, etc. and we don't always know what colors look best with them. After getting some opinions and doing some research, I have determined that these colors look best with these color eyes.
  1. For brown eyes rich colors like purple and plums look great. They add a pop to the brown that most brown eyes don't have.
  2. For blue eyes dark smokey colors like blacks and greys look best because they make your blue eyes look smoldering.
  3. For green eyes browns and golds look best. Most green eyes have some flecks of gold or lighter colors in them so by applying a gold or brownish color it helps bring that out.

What's used?

I use some favorite go-to products in every post. If you have these items you are set for any makeup look.

First I always use a black liner, I love CoverGirls Perfect Point Plus eyeliner in black onyx. It is super smooth, so it goes on really easily; plus it has a smudger on the end to smudge your eyeliner for a smokey look. I use the smudger and the eyeliner in every post.

Second I always use a black mascara, CoverGirls Lash Blast Volume Blasting mascara in very black. This mascara doesn't clump easily like others do and it stays on really nice.

Third I always use a chapstick or a lip plumper, I like avon Lip Plumper with double the retinol in it. It makes your lips look very full. I wear it alone if I have a heavy look on but it goes great under a color, it's a good base.

Fourth I use a foundation, I use L'Oreal Paris True Match super blendable makeup. It goes on great and just like the name implies, it is super blendable.

Lastly I use a powder, I use neutragena's mineral sheers powder foundation. It is great coverage but it doesn't feel heavy or thick either.

Rules of Thumb

  1. What ever you do to the top, do to the bottom.
    • When you do something with your eyeshadow to the top of your lids you should normally do it to the bottom also. So if you put a grey shadow on your lid, then lightly line underneath your lower lash line with it also.
  2. When you have oily skin, DO NOT use oil based products!
    1. If you have oily skin and you use an oil based product then all you'll get is more oil! Oil based products will leave your skin feeling greasy before you even start your day. So instead try a water based product. Next time your looking for a foundation look on the bottle for the words oil free.
  3. If contaminated, throw it out.
    1. The minute your makeup gets bad bacteria in it, you start spreading it all over your face. We never really think about it that way but it's true. Leaving your makeup open, sprawled out all over the counter, just screams breakout waiting to happen. So, when your makeup starts getting dirty, smelly, or weird looking throw it out. Also don't let little kids hands in your makeup bag with out them being washed first. Children's hands are every where! They pick up every little germ, then they go and touch your makeup and BAM contaminated.

Pixie Girl

This look is so delicate and pretty. It's a very girly look, sort of like a cute little pixie look.

Step 1: Start of with "The Basics"
Step 2: Take a light blue shadow, one with sort of a shimmer will look nice. Trace your upper lash line with the blue, then take the blue shadow and swoop it out to your outer corner ,then up around into your crease. Make a thick crease.
Step 3: Then take a shimmery purple eyeshadow and fill in the middle of your lid with it.
Step 4: Take your purple shadow and line your lower lash line with it.
Step 5: Then take your shimmery blue shadow and smudge it underneath your lash line also, right over top of the purple.
  • Let some of the purple show in the middle when you take the blue over it.
Step 6: Then if you want to take this look over the top you can add some dramatic fake black lashes and cover with mascara.
Step 7: In the picture she has blue sequins that follow the shape of her eye on the outside. You can add this for a party or something, but just for a normal day I would keep these off.
